About the Role:


This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with LiveBig, a specialist allied health organisation providing therapy and assessment services for people with disability.


We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our supportive and passionate team, working full-time or part-time (minimum of 3 days) on a permanent basis. You will be based anywhere in Western or Southwestern Sydney, enjoying a hybrid role that offers flexibility and work/life balance.


Key Responsibilities:



  • You will have a diverse caseload providing high-quality support in home or community settings, such as schools and group homes.
  • You will develop person-centred, evidence-informed positive behaviour support plans in line with the person's goals and NDIS plans.
  • You will use functional assessment tools to conduct physical & interpersonal assessments of people in a range of environments.
  • You will provide therapeutic interventions to support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills.
  • You will have the flexibility to be based from home to complete reporting and administration in support of your caseload.

Requirements:



  • Tertiary level education in a relevant human services discipline (or working towards).
  • Registration with the NDIS Commission to carry out PBS work (Core/suitable minimum).
  • Experience in facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for clients and families.
  • Some experience in positive behavioural support work (ideally 6 months minimum).
  • A current Australian driver's licence, WWCC, satisfactory police check to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Eligible to apply for/currently hold NDIS worker screening check, WWCC and police check.
  • Drivers license and use of own vehicle.

Salary Information:


The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
