Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and passionate team as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

You will have a diverse caseload providing high-quality support in home or community settings, such as schools and group homes.

Develop person-centred, evidence-informed positive behaviour support plans in line with the individual's goals and NDIS plans.

Conduct physical and interpersonal assessments of people in a range of environments using functional assessment tools.

Provide therapeutic interventions to support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills.

You will have the flexibility to work from home and complete reporting and administration tasks in support of your caseload.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary level education in a relevant human services discipline (or working towards)
  • Registration with the NDIS Commission to carry out PBS work (Core/suitable minimum)
  • Experience in facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for clients and families
  • Some experience in positive behavioural support work (ideally 6 months minimum)
  • A current Australian driver's licence, WWCC, and satisfactory police check
  • Eligibility to apply for/currently hold NDIS worker screening check, WWCC, and police check

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
