Junior School Teacher Position

Job Summary:

  • Teach primary years in a full-time temporary or ongoing position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior School Teacher to join our College Community. As a Junior School Teacher, you will be committed to maximising students' potential and providing a relevant and engaging learning experience based on an inquiry approach.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, passionate, and a committed member of our College Community, contributing to all aspects of College life. You will support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and demonstrate a strong personal faith commitment.

  • Strong and active personal faith commitment
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional growth and development
  • Dedicated to the advancement of each student's holistic development and committed to providing the highest standard of care and education
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in collaborative teams
  • Demonstrated competence in classroom management
  • Proficiency in using technology such as Office 365 Suite and Apple Technologies
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in inter-disciplinary planning and pedagogy
  • Knowledge of and willingness to embrace inquiry-learning pedagogy and collaborate with colleagues in planning, session facilitation, and evaluation

Required Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification
  • Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School or be willing to work towards
  • Current TRBWA Registration
  • Successful applicants will require a Working with Children Check
