Electricity Market Reform Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the Electricity Market Reform initiative, driving strategic change and ensuring a seamless transition to a more sustainable energy landscape.

This role requires a deep understanding of the complex interplay between technical, commercial, and regulatory factors in Australia's electricity industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in navigating the current challenges and emerging developments at both local and national levels.

A key component involves exceptional leadership abilities, with a proven track record of shaping organisational direction and delivering results on time.

Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial in building productive relationships across government, industry, and the community.

Strong tertiary qualifications in economics, engineering, law, public policy, or related disciplines are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience navigating the complex electricity industry landscape and possess a strong track record of delivering results under pressure.

They will also possess excellent leadership and management skills, with strengths in strategic policy development, project oversight, workforce planning, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
