**Quarry Operations Manager Role**

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Quarry Operations Manager, overseeing the safe and efficient management of our quarry operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quarry management, with experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the safe performance of employees and subcontractors, meeting legislative requirements and our safety management plan.
  • Meeting and achieving production targets through effective leadership and strategy.
  • Maintaining quality control, aligning with client requirements and our site-specific quarry management plan.
  • Implementing environmental management and ensuring conformance with legislative requirements and our site-specific plan.
  • Driving continuous improvement across all aspects of our operation.

**Requirements for Success**

  • Ability to carry out work as instructed by our General Manager.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement strategies.
  • Familiarity with earthmoving/quarry machinery.
  • Understanding of WHS quarry regulations.
  • Knowledge of quarry legislation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Variety of plant experience including excavator operation.
