Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy and efficiency across our operations. Your expertise will support informed decision-making and cost management within our processing functions.

  • Review and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct market research to maintain competitive and accurate cost standards.
  • Update the company ledger to accurately reflect financial positions.
  • Provide data analysis to inform managers' decisions with actionable costing insights.
  • Identify and recommend cost-efficient solutions to manage expenditures.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on expenses, budgets, and supply chain performance.
  • Monitor and compare weekly actual costs against standard costs, addressing variances.
  • Develop costings for new products and maintain the accuracy of costing systems.
About You

You are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a proven background in finance and cost management. Holding tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field, you bring 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, including prior exposure to cost accounting. Your analytical mindset and ability to work with precision ensure the accuracy of financial records and insightful analysis.

Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industries is an advantage, but your advanced Microsoft Excel skills and adaptability to new systems set you apart. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills to meet deadlines and exceed expectations. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you are approachable, customer-focused, and committed to delivering meaningful financial insights to stakeholders.
