Risk Management Specialist

About the Role
The University of Melbourne is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance professional to lead the identification and evaluation of compliance and operational risk management. As a key member of the Business Services team, you will be responsible for enhancing awareness and understanding of risk management concepts and practices among operational managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with University policies and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and reporting.
- Provide guidance and support to operational managers to enhance their risk management capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in end-to-end risk management and compliance roles, with a focus on IT and/or non-IT operational areas.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- A degree in business, information technology, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
