Network Operations Planner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Operations Planner to join our team in Perth Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in planning, scheduling and optimizing access to our network for customers, above rail operators and internal teams.

The primary purpose of this role is to maximize the throughput of tonnages on our network. Your duties will include:

  • Processing and optimizing train scheduling requirements for above rail operators
  • Investigating delay reasons and network issues, collaborating with Network Control and providing information to customers and above rail operators through daily phone meetings
  • Producing monthly operational reporting packages for discussion at customer and above rail operator meetings
  • Processing and optimizing major work window requirements for regions and project teams

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and demonstrated experience in developing reporting and performance metrics used to assist customers with their requirements.
