Correctional Services Director

Job Title:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the daily operations and correctional services at Tarrengower Prison, focusing on safe custody, welfare, and rehabilitation of prisoners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to create a culture that is safe, respectful, and inclusive of all staff and prisoners.
- Drive reform in correctional services through effective leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and management of day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and policies within the Criminal Justice System of Victoria.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in managing complex environments and developing safe cultures across diverse workforces.
- Proven track record in directing daily business activities, developing strategies, and overseeing programs that promote positive outcomes for prisoners.
- Strong knowledge of custodial operations and correctional services, with the ability to drive reform and implement change.
- Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, procedures, and policies within the Criminal Justice System of Victoria.
