Digital Designer Position Overview

Digital Designer Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Designer to contribute to the development of interactive and engaging e-learning content.

  • Collaborate with instructional design, product management, and project management teams to design, develop, and create high-quality educational content.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and digital design techniques to create visually appealing course materials, multimedia elements, assessments, and activities.
  • Design, develop, and integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, motion-graphics, animation, video, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop courses with intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall experience.
  • Conduct accessibility and usability testing and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualification: A Digital Design related qualification is desirable.
  • Functional Experience: Digital Design experience, preferably an e-learning content creator with a portfolio showcasing course development, interactive e-learning projects, and/or multimedia content creation.
  • Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of e-learning authoring tools and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of learning design principles.
  • Communication and collaboration skills are key to success in a cross-functional, multi-time zone, and remote-first team.

This role is home-office based, but the team meets on a regular basis in central Melbourne. The successful candidate will be able to commute into Melbourne for in-person days with the team as required.
