The current opportunity is for a Materials Handler to join our team in Orange. In this role, you will work closely with our production team to ensure that we are meeting our production goals while maintaining the highest standard of quality control.

This is a full-time opportunity based at our site in Orange, working our afternoon shift from 11:30 am-7:36 pm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • A safety-first mindset adhering to Stramit's safety protocols and values.
  • Picking materials and loading via Forklift (high reach).
  • Working on a specific loading manifest (multiple drops for trucks).
  • Paperwork and compliance (paper and using IT systems).
  • Full training and support with experienced team members.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
  • Upholding Stramit's core values: Protect, Be Bold, Customer Leading, and Better Together.

About you

  • Total commitment to safety with a team approach and ability to also work independently.
  • Previous work in Manufacturing or Production is ideal (or Physical/manual labour role).
  • Reliability with availability across rotating shift times.
  • Gantry crane operations experience is ideal.
  • The ability to manually lift heavy items, with safety guidelines in place.
  • Current Forklift license required.

We offer an estimated annual salary of approximately $70,000 AUD, taking into account the location and industry standards.
