About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrician to join our team at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of maintenance schedules and workload to minimize equipment downtime
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to ensure prompt and effective resolution of equipment issues
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure all necessary policies, procedures, and resources are available for maintenance and repair activities
  • Conduct downloads and analysis of on-board computer systems to identify and diagnose equipment issues
  • Perform high-quality maintenance and repair work using technical manuals and industry standards
  • Prepare and submit detailed service reports to document maintenance and repair activities
Requirements
  • Electrical trade qualification and relevant industry experience
  • QLD Electrical License and HV Switching Ticket
  • Current Driver's license and driver history report
  • Knowledge and understanding of OEM equipment, including Komatsu, CAT, Liebherr, and Hitachi
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to work unsupervised in remote areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
