Job Opportunity: HV Electrician

Komatsu Australia is seeking a skilled HV Electrician to join our team based out of Gladstone. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure excellent customer service at various mine sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the team in planning maintenance schedules and workload through effective communication
  • Provide technical expertise to minimize equipment downtime
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure all required policies, procedures, and resources are available prior to carrying out planned work
  • Carry out downloads and analysis of on-board computer systems
  • Provide high-quality service reports covering complaint, cause, and correction
Requirements:
  • Electrical trade qualification
  • QLD Electrical License
  • HV Switching Ticket
  • Current Driver's License and driver history report
  • Knowledge and understanding of OEM equipment such as KOMATSU, CAT, LIEBHERR, and/or HITACHI
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised and in remote areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
