Senior UNIX Infrastructure Expert

A key requirement for this role is Australian citizenship and residency in Australia. The successful candidate will also need to hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance.

Mandatory Criteria

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems.

Additionally, experience with IBM AIX Operating Systems is highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating detailed technical documentation, including as-built documents, operational handover documents, support guides, and standard operating procedures.

They will also have experience working collaboratively with networking, compute, storage, security engineers and architects to coordinate deployment and management of components.

Furthermore, experience in working with vendors and internal resources to ensure delivery of solutions meets requirements is essential.

Weighted Criteria

Experience with Red Hat Ansible automation, Red Hat Pacemaker, Red Hat Satellite, and Identity Manager is highly regarded.

Additionally, experience with Virtualisation on the IBM Power platform, VMware platform, Openstack platform, and Oracle SPARC Platform is desirable.

Certified Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCA) or Certified Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Oracle Solaris Administration Certification is highly valued.
