Power Solutions & Grid Management

This role oversees grid execution activities within the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Australia and New Zealand. You will lead a team of engineering professionals, managing resource allocation and development throughout sales, construction, and services phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management: Lead a team of Power System Engineers, Specialists, and professionals involved in sales and construction projects.
  • Project Optimisation: Collaborate with sales, construction, and technical teams to optimise grid connection and electrical infrastructure.
  • Process Improvement: Improve current technical and resource processes for the Asia Pacific business and promote global improvements within Vestas.
  • Global Network: Enhance two-way communication between product capabilities and market requirements with Vestas Global R&D and Global Grid Integration teams.
  • Team Development: Create and implement a development program to enhance power systems engineers' capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations on sales and construction projects to ensure balanced, technically compliant solutions.
  • Industry Participation: Engage with industry-wide associations and forums in the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering or business degree.
  • Five+ years of leading teams.
