We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans that drive business growth and excellence.

Job Description

This key role involves managing and maintaining the supply processes associated with our powders, automotive, and industrial businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing master data, managing order processes with suppliers, and reviewing inventory levels to minimize risk while ensuring product availability meets customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master Data Management (ABC, Safety stock, MRP Profile, Obsoletion Notices) in ERP system
  • Inventory policy and calculations
  • Place weekly and monthly PO's, as required
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports, blocked stock and projected inventory
  • Support with key supply chain projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Work with suppliers (including international ones) on issues and priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Supply Chain and/or previous planning experience; knowledge of supplier management, safety stock policies and master data reviews and SLOBs
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience in working with large sets of data, proficiency with data analytics and Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of S&OP process, supply and inventory management practices and procedures
  • Confident and influential communicator with the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders
