Job Title: Test Analyst

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of the Micromine Spry team, you will play a crucial role in validating the quality of our products and uncovering defects in software prior to release to customers.

In this role, you will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to design and implement tests, develop automated test scripts, and perform manual testing as necessary. You will also be responsible for finding consistent reproductions for customer-reported issues and actively managing issues, testing, and closing resolved issues through JIRA issue tracking.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team to obtain knowledge and resources necessary to design and implement tests.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing as necessary.
  • Find consistent reproductions for customer-reported issues.
  • Actively manage issues, testing, and closing resolved issues through JIRA issue tracking.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience within testing roles, including skills with both manual and automated testing. Key skills, experience, and qualifications include:

  • Experience working with automated testing tools.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated functional and regression tests.
  • Experience with manual testing.
  • Sound knowledge of QA and test automation best practices.
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience.
  • Bonus (Not Essential): Experience with Jira for issue tracking.
