Job Summary: We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role involves coordinating the efficient transportation of shipments through our vehicle fleet and local agent network, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate collections, deliveries, drop-offs, and recoveries with other departments/agents and drivers.
  • Maintain constant communication with packaging teams to ensure availability of required supplies.
  • Condition shipments as required and create applicable route legs depending on the service.
  • Provide proper documentation to agents/drivers for collections, deliveries, drop-offs, and recoveries.
  • Track every shipment using Maestro Wiki reports and confirm that every recovery is complete by matching information against manifests.
  • Ensure agents/drivers update information in the system through mobile apps and provide periodical inspections of vehicles to confirm they are in proper condition.
  • Notify discrepancies to respective departments, agents, or offices and update Maestro accordingly.
  • Update Tableau boards and upload documents in the system in a timely manner.
  • Download TT4s in the system in a timely manner and place delay codes and notes in Maestro.
  • Update dispatch turnover spreadsheets for the next shift and maintain consistent communication with export/import for airport recoveries and drops.
  • Know the location of drivers and LSPs at all times and replenish local deliveries as necessary.
  • Paying for import shipments, creating pick-up orders for airlines, and reviewing Route Leg Alert screens in Maestro.

Requirements:

  • Experience with airfreight operations, import/export operations, and related local regulatory requirements.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and truly caring about quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driving license.
