Indigenous Procurement Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Indigenous Procurement Manager to join our team at Sodexo. As the procurement lead for all Indigenous supplier engagement, you will play a key role in shaping and influencing our company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with the Head of Indigenous Affairs to provide Indigenous suppliers for consideration to become Sodexo Approved Indigenous Suppliers.
- Undertake reporting regarding purchasing spend with Indigenous suppliers.
- Be client-facing in some instances for major contracts.
Requirements
- Passion, spirit, and desire to progress the well-being of Indigenous peoples through the expansion of the Indigenous Procurement Strategy.
- Well-developed skills to support the practical completion of the source to contract process.
- Customer-focused with excellent influencing and negotiation skills, teamed with the ability to understand key stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrate experience in Change Management and implementing business processes.
- Ability to communicate at all levels with good written, verbal, and reporting skills.
- Ability to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, self-confident, honest, and flexible, with a professional work ethic.
- Ability to work autonomously and establish priorities.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain function.
- Demonstrated experience of leading a range of procurement categories, e.g., FM, Food & Beverage, Consumables, and Services.
- Degree in Business (Certificate IV), major in Supply Chain Management (Diploma)/Procurement.
