About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Wollongong. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and promoting overall well-being.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support, helping to maintain their independence and quality of life.

  • Award rate of $29.51-$31.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role.
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help when needed.
  • Availability to work at least three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
