Job Title: KYC Specialist

This role focuses on overseeing the entire Know Your Customer lifecycle for new client onboarding within the investment banking division.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in KYC or AML roles, including complex onboarding scenarios involving various entity types.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills are essential.

  • Gather and review KYC, compliance, and regulatory documentation from various sources.
  • Perform initial screening to ensure compliance with global and local regulations.
  • Handle escalations and communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
  • Identify risks and monitor issues until resolution with root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the end-to-end KYC process for new client onboarding, product or business extensions, and remediation activities.
  2. Develop and report on team performance metrics and business insights.
  3. Implement process changes based on regulatory updates and provide training.
  4. Support data clean-up, remediation, and process re-engineering initiatives.
Requirements:

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, FATCA, MIFID, and Australian regulations is required.

Experience with KYC systems and proficiency in MS Office are also necessary.
