CNC Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC machine operator to join our team on an immediate basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company assets and equipment efficiently to achieve set targets in quality and volume.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Safely operate CNC machines to produce high-quality products.">
  • Investigate and suggest process improvements to eliminate waste and maximise resource utilisation.">
  • Complete all required compliance documentation for Health, Safety and Quality.">
  • Ensure product quality meets specifications through inspection of received goods and finished products.">
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.">
  • Achieve inventory targets through effective loss control methods.">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have demonstrable experience in ERP operation and Microsoft software packages. Additionally, you should be able to interpret and manufacture required items from production drawings and work orders. A Forklift Operator License is essential, with experience in non-standard loads required.

A Gantry Crane Operator Competency is desired, as well as experience in the operation of hand tools such as grinders, drills, strappers, etc. Two years' experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is desirable.
