Lead a before and after school care program in a team environment.

You'll manage educators, create learning experiences, and ensure a safe space for children to grow and thrive.

About the Role

In this part-time role, you'll lead a team of educators, plan programs, and ensure compliance with national frameworks and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management – Oversee daily operations, plan engaging programs, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership & Team Support – Lead, mentor, and manage OSHC Educators while fostering a positive team culture.
  • Child Safety & Well-being – Ensure a safe, supportive environment for children, implementing behaviour management and emergency protocols.
  • Family & Community Engagement– Build relationships with parents, schools, and the wider community through communication initiatives.
  • Compliance & Quality Improvement – Maintain regulatory compliance, oversee training, and drive continuous program improvement.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Qualifications – Working towards or holding a relevant Diploma level qualification (ACECQA approved).
  • Essential Certifications – First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection Training (current or willing to obtain).
  • Leadership Experience – Ideally 2 years in an OSHC leadership role, with strong team management skills.
  • Key Skills – Administration, curriculum planning, communication, organisation, and conflict resolution.
  • Commitment to Quality – Passion for child development, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Work Rights & Availability – Ongoing permanent Australian work rights, and available to work at least 80% of shifts.
