About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical nurse specialist to work with us at VenuesWest. The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating admission processes for patients referred to our mental health unit from various regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing timely and specialized clinical mental health nursing consultancy service to emergency department staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Triage and conduct mental health assessments of patients presenting to the emergency department who may be considered at risk or require specialized acute mental health assessment.
- Assisting carers and serving as a link between hospital, mental health unit, and community services.
