Job Description:

As an Automation Process Leader, you will lead a team of technical specialists to drive operational excellence and efficiency. The role involves overseeing the implementation of automation solutions to enhance processing equipment and technical processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimise automation systems to meet functional outcomes, throughput requirements, and capacity demands.
  • Participate in system testing, operational readiness, and commissioning activities to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives through supplier relationships, process enhancements, and business process changes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to optimise processing equipment, control systems, and system functionality.
  • Design and document complex work instructions, SOPs, and processes to streamline operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams in large-scale manufacturing environments.
  • A strong track record of service provider management and driving continuous improvement.
  • Advanced analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • In-depth understanding of process flows, optimisation, and enhancement of processing equipment and technical processes.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive team performance and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
