Defence and Maritime Engineer Role

Naval shipbuilding involves integrating various systems to ensure smooth operations. As a Defence and Maritime Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing combat system integration projects.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Engineering services: Providing technical advice and investigations to identify solutions for platform integration elements.
  • Technical expertise: Applying robust systems engineering processes to complete combat system integration design activities for naval ship systems.
  • Project management: Coordinating assigned engineering projects from concept through to delivery, including project plans, schedule, and stakeholder engagement.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics)
  • Proven experience in related engineering functions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
