Role Overview

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our multitenant VMware private cloud platform, ensuring its availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the private cloud platform, including security patching and software updates.
  • Management of ancillary services, such as Veeam Backup and Monitoring.
  • Identifying problems and areas for improvement, investigating options to resolve or improve.
  • Planning and implementing projects for improvement or capability expansion.
  • Exploring new technologies to benefit the business or platform.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices to protect client systems and data.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
  • Providing guidance to team members to ensure overall technical competency and knowledge.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline operations.

Requirements

  • Must be able and willing to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
  • Extensive experience in systems, preferably in a similar multi-tenant IAAS environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
