Job Title: Senior Structural Integrity Engineer

Your primary role will be to ensure the integrity of aircraft structures and propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement structural integrity strategies.

You will apply your knowledge in managing aircraft and propulsion structural integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing engineering support and expertise for the development and maintenance of aircraft structures and propulsion systems.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on usage and condition to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Participating in annual working groups and contributing to relevant technical conferences and events.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Membership in Engineers Australia at the level of MIEAust, or eligibility for membership.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in engineering structures, or ASI/PSI field as a practicing design engineer in the aviation industry.
  • A working knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DAR).
  • Experience in engaging with international programs and collaborations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Direct technical experience in an aircraft-related Through Life Support (TLS) program.
  • Civil commercial aircraft program technical knowledge and experience.
  • Engineering/technical knowledge to understand engineering tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering and certification concepts used by ADF and/or civil operators.
