About the Role

Due to sustained growth and recent project wins, we are seeking a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of major permanent and temporary works structures. This role will see you provide technical leadership across bridge design, construction staging, shoring systems, and temporary works, while mentoring junior engineers and engaging directly with clients and contractors.

The position offers a balance of hands-on technical design, project leadership, and stakeholder management, with clear pathways to further leadership roles within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design and delivery across bridges, transport infrastructure and temporary works.
  • Provide technical oversight and peer reviews on design deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with contractors during tender, construction and delivery phases
  • Manage client relationships, technical reports, and project presentations
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting technical excellence across the team
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, codes and client specifications
  • Support business development, tenders, and proposals for major infrastructure works
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Chartered CPEng preferred)
  • 10+ years' experience in structural engineering with a focus on civil infrastructure & temporary works
  • Demonstrated expertise in bridge design, shoring, staging, or other construction engineering methodologies
  • Proficiency in SpaceGass, Strand7, MIDAS, or equivalent software
  • Strong ability to liaise with contractors, clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven leadership in mentoring engineers and managing project teams
