Therapeutic Services Coordinator

At Baptist Care SA, we work collaboratively with South Australians from all walks of life. We provide a range of services, including camping and adventure programs, disability support, homelessness services, out of home care, and youth, family, and community programs.
This is a full-time position based at our Salisbury office that actively delivers services throughout Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver child-focused counselling and family therapy to children, young people, and families to support good mental health for individual and family functioning.
- Implement a client-centred practice approach based on the organisation's best practice framework.
- Provide short-term, early intervention, evidence-based therapeutic support while collaborating with children and their families.
- Deliver FWS program services through community outreach, mental health promotion, and educational activities aimed at enhancing local capacity to understand and respond to children or young people at risk or affected by mental illness.
About You:
We are seeking a self-motivated, creative, engaging, and detail-oriented professional who has relevant degree qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling, or a related field. Experience in providing counselling services and proficiency in evidence-based brief/systemic therapeutic approaches are essential.
Requirements:
- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver's Licence
- DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check
- National Police Clearance
- Training: Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Through Their Eyes)
