About the Role

Support surgical and procedural operations by ensuring that hospital departments are equipped with clean, well-maintained environments. The Perioperative Support Services team plays a vital role in facilitating smooth patient care processes across Operating Theatres, Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA), Post Anaesthetic Recovery Unit (PARU), Endoscopy, and Short Stay Surgery Units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently clean surrounding areas, including equipment, furniture, fridges, fixtures, and other assets to maintain high standards of infection control. Additionally, complete associated documentation for cleaning activities as required.
  • Provide transportation services for patient transfers using trolleys, wheelchairs, and beds to all hospital departments, including discharge to the patient collection area when necessary.
  • Assist nursing staff with preparing patient care areas and utility support rooms, ensuring relevant equipment is present, clean, and functioning properly.
Working Arrangements

Permanent part-time shift work position available, requiring up to 48 hours per fortnight. This opportunity is available to commence immediately.
