About the Role:
">We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Scrub/ Scout Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, friendly, and supportive environment.

- Assist surgeons during eye surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and within reach.">
- Coordinate with anesthesia providers to ensure seamless transitions between surgical stages.">
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support.">
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.">
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, suggesting strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce wait times.">
Requirements:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.">
- Solid experience in ophthalmology scrub/scout nursing, preferably in a day surgery setting.">
