Job Overview
The Pre-Training and Assessment Officer plays a key role in the booking, management and completion of pre-training assessments.
- Key Responsibilities include assessing student skill levels under the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), conducting initial client interviews and documenting all aspects of the program assessment and records administration.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments as per the Training and Assessment Strategy and Program requirements.
- Ensuring all program assessment and records administration meet compliance requirements for ASQA and SEE contractual requirements.
- Maintaining accurate client information in learners' portfolios/files and data systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A current Cert IV TAE qualification is essential.
- Diploma or higher level qualification in Adult Education would be highly regarded.
- Strong planning, organisation and administration skills with attention to detail are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
