About Your New Role

The role of Marketing Officer plays a vital part in shaping and sharing the story of the organisation. This involves more than just attracting new customers – it's about strengthening connections with current stakeholders, alumni, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to enhance brand identity and community engagement
  • Manage digital platforms, including websites, social media, and content management systems
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, draft press releases, and manage media opportunities to positively position the organisation
  • Promote events, such as Open Days, and school celebrations, ensuring they effectively showcase the culture and offerings
  • Collaborate effectively across different teams, including leadership, staff, students, parents, and external partners
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of and respect for the organisation's values and ethos
  • A minimum of three years experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing digital platforms and content, social media, and marketing campaigns
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, draft press releases, and manage media opportunities
  • Experience promoting events and collaborating effectively across different teams
