Occupational Therapist Role Overview

Better Rehab is a leading provider of allied health services, supporting participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) within the community. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care through a team of dedicated professionals across an MDT.

Our occupational therapists enjoy a convenient location close to Gateways Shopping Centre, perfect for those lunchtime retail therapy sessions with easy access to the freeway and major routes, making it simple to reach your participants and a mixed caseload that keeps every day interesting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex cases, explore new treatment approaches, and overcome professional challenges

Requirements
  • Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist - limited may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
