Night Shift Machine Operator Role

This position involves operating and maintaining machinery within our organization's safety, quality, and performance standards.

The role requires production activities associated with the rostered position, with reasonable requests for overtime when required.

Additionally, cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas is a critical component of this job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within established standards
  • Production activities associated with the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime
  • Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
  • Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous machine operating experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven ability to troubleshoot on machines
  • Understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles
  • Effective communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manual handle up to 20kg
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days per week on a permanent basis on night shift
