Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Store Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Store Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all store operations run smoothly. This includes coordinating repairs, returns, and credits with suppliers, managing laybys and vendor orders, maintaining accurate stock levels, and rolling out price changes, compliance tasks, and safety audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate repairs, returns, and credits with suppliers to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Manage laybys and vendor orders to ensure timely delivery and prevent delays.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels by counting inventory, monitoring stock movements, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Roll out price changes, compliance tasks, and safety audits as required to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with store leadership, suppliers, and the support office to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 15kg, move equipment, and climb ladders safely.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using spreadsheets and other software applications.
