Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic visionary to lead the development and assurance of whole-of-government technology & architecture standards.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in current and emerging digital technologies and architectures.
  • They will advise government agencies on breaking down big digital programs/problems into smaller, manageable tasks.
  • Candidate must collaborate across NSW Government with partner agencies and customers to understand strategic problems, linking to existing solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Create and implement standards related to platform reuse, reduction of legacy technology, and emerging technology.
  • Contribute to strategies and roadmaps that result in seamless customer experiences, increased public servant efficiencies, and industry productivity.
Requirements
  • Strong consulting skills and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
  • Outcome-driven and customer-focused approach.

This is an opportunity for a key member of the Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance Team to work across whole-of-NSW Government to drive digital strategy and alignment, improve customer outcomes, and reduce legacy systems.
