About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Digital Strategy, Investment & Assurance team as a Portfolio Manager - Digital Services. In this role, you will play a key part in helping government agencies improve their digital maturity through increased adoption of Digital NSW services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key stakeholders across government and develop strategic relationships to accelerate delivery of transformative digital projects.
  • Simplify government access to services from Digital NSW and position our branch, Digital Strategy, Investment & Assurance (DSIA), as the front door to NSW digital government.
  • Collaborate with agencies to ensure their investment pipeline is accurate and regularly updated.
  • Assist agency portfolios to navigate funding pathways, including the Digital Restart Fund.
  • Engage with teams across DSIA and Digital NSW to ensure the lifecycle of digital & ICT initiatives are delivered in line with relevant policy and standards.
  • Work with Ministerial portfolios to form a deep understanding of their strategy and priorities to identify and promote success stories where government use of Digital NSW services have created citizen, economic, environmental, or social benefit.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships at strategic and operational levels.
  • Experience in government digital transformation highly regarded.
  • Experience in managing delivery of technology.
  • Customer focused & detail oriented.
  • Familiar with agile ways of working.
  • Experience with development of Briefing Notes, Cabinet Submissions and able to distill complex technical narratives into plain English.
