We are seeking a seasoned creative professional to join our in-house podcasts team as a Managing Producer. This role will oversee the production of multiple shows, manage a team of podcast producers, and contribute to the development of new original content.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional people management skills, ability to work across multiple podcast projects and timelines, and a proven track record of managing high-quality audio content. Experience working with talent, mentoring podcast producers, generating creative ideas, and seeing projects through from ideation to launch is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum 10 years experience in audio and content, including managing creative teams.
- Strong mentoring skills and ability to lead a team of producers.
- Strong creative, content, and ideation skills to develop compelling ideas for editorial and commercial content.
- Excellent feedback and constructive criticism skills.
- Fine-tuned editorial lens and ability to make editorial and creative decisions.
- Strong relationship management experience with talent and managers.
- Understanding of legal restrictions around content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines with multiple stakeholders involved.
- Strong understanding of best practice podcast promotion across social, PR, and marketing.
- Experience incorporating commercial content into podcasts from ideation to delivery.
- Ability to manage and coordinate staffing and produce high-quality content.
