Key Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Lead to oversee the development and integration of advanced flight control systems and avionics across our aerospace vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead a high-performing team of engineers, championing technical excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring successful project delivery from concept to flight.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop, qualify and operate subsystems for flight control, guidance, navigation, communications, ground control, instrumentation and power.
  • Partner with the Head of Engineering to grow a high-performing team to support hypersonic vehicle development and flight testing.
  • Deliver modelling and simulation tools and outputs to quantify vehicle performance, assess vehicle design trades, perform flight safety analysis, and inform requirements generation and compliance assessments.
  • Conduct system architecture trades for current and future products.
  • Act as the technical authority for GNC, software and avionics.
  • Hold technical authority for GNC and Avionics in design reviews, non-conformance reviews, failure investigations etc.
  • Maintenance and upgrade of existing avionics test bed, HWIL test setup, SWIL infrastructure and other miscellaneous test assets.
