Taxi Equipment Installation Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our TAXITECH team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of installation technicians in the assessment, repair, installation, and deinstallation of MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS machines, taxi meters, security cameras, and other taxi equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and take on a leadership role in our organization. You will be reporting directly to the TAXITECH Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the installation bay.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and mentorship of junior installation technicians.
- Accountable for the timely repair of MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS machines, taxi meters, security cameras, and other taxi equipment.
- Perform fault diagnosis and obtain parts and materials required for repairs.
- Assist with diagnosis of vehicle issues relating to the MTData dispatch system, camera system, and Cabcharge FAREWAY plus system.
- Remove and apply decals and livery from taxis.
- Interpret manuals and software to identify spare parts and liaise with the TAXITECH Manager regarding part ordering.
- Ensure shop equipment is operating efficiently by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
- Listen to operator and driver complaints, conduct inspections, repair engine failures, repair mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, and replace parts and components.
- Comply with all documented Health and Safety policies, procedures, work instructions, and verbal instructions issued by the TAXITECH Manager.
- Ensure work is done efficiently and in accordance with industry standards.
- Complete and maintain accurate service and administrative records in compliance with company record-keeping requirements.
- Ability to lead a team of technical installers.
- Technical automotive installation experience.
