Nurse Unit Manager Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead and manage the Surgical Ward at our hospital, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
This is a full-time role requiring 76 hours of work per fortnight.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the ward, ensuring efficient delivery of nursing care.
- Lead and develop a dynamic team of nurses to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Mentor and support less experienced staff to promote learning and development.
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent.
- Experience working in an acute setting.
- Compliance with relevant national standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
