Aquatic Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Aquatic Operations Coordinator to join our team at Belgravia Health and Leisure Group Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our Duty Manager and Lifeguard teams, while assisting our Venue Managers in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple seasonal pools.

This is a hands-on role with a focus on safety, supervision, risk management, facility maintenance, and operations. As a key member of our team, you will have a passion for safety around the water and be energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

You will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the following pools:

  • Faith Leech Aquatic Centre
  • Brennan Park Swimming Pool
  • Marong Swimming Pool
  • Heathcote Swimming Pool
  • Long Gully Splash Park

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing strong leadership and guidance to our Duty Manager and Lifeguard teams
  • Assisting our Venue Managers in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple seasonal pools
  • Ensuring safety, supervision, risk management, facility maintenance, and operations are of the highest standard
  • Providing outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence
  • Being responsible for the following skills and attributes:
    • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within a leisure facility
    • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
    • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
    • National Police Check
    • Current Working with Children Check
    • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
    • Current Pool Operations Certificate
    • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
