About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Space Category Buyer to lead our vision within the Cotton On Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of Home and Lifestyle products within the Space category, including home and décor hardgoods and softgoods, glass and ceramics lines, lighting, home scents, and apparel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our creative leads and other buyers to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love.
  • Contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making, and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behavior, and market insights to inform product development and buying decisions.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification/degree in a relevant field (e.g., Buying or Product Development).
  • Demonstrated experience working with production, trends, and buying teams to achieve strategic visions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with internal/external stakeholders and support teams.
  • Experience in a leadership role in a significant multi-brand global retailer.
