About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our Cotton On Body team, focusing on our Activewear Tops & Bottoms category. As an Assistant Buyer, you will work closely with your category buyer to deliver key lifestyle products that align with our brand DNA. Your role will involve partnering with the category buyer to identify sales and trend opportunities, and making production decisions that drive growth to the category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the category buyer in developing and implementing buying strategies
  • Partner with the category buyer to identify and capitalize on sales and trend opportunities
  • Make production decisions that drive growth to the category
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure timely and effective product launches
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or qualification in buying or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar Assistant Buyer role
  • Hands-on product development experience, with the ability to manage OTB with a planner
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with confidence
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
