About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a Surveyor to work in Yarrabilba, QLD.

The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their surveying career, progress their registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, and be mentored by a team of experienced industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice, management, and instruction on a range of surveying projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client base in the infrastructure and development sectors.
  • Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing, and management of the total project, including liaison with clients, communication within the business, and assisting with budgets and accounts.
  • Provide operational support to Team Leaders and Survey Manager in relation to resource planning and staff mentoring.
  • Adhere to the company's work, health, and safety policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor or higher.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a surveying role covering a range of projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, clients, and staff.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software, with experience with Trimble instruments highly regarded.
  • Ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones.
  • Good technical and communication skills.
  • QLD manual driver's licence.
