As a Retail Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in remote retail teams across Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.

This purpose-led organisation is seeking an experienced Retail Trainer to support remote Indigenous communities. You will travel to stores, coach local teams, and enhance retail standards in meaningful ways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training on store operations, merchandising, customer service, and food retail fundamentals
  • Coach and mentor Store and Duty Managers to improve performance and develop their teams
  • Identify skill gaps and tailor training support accordingly
  • Provide operational relief in stores when needed
  • Promote safe work practices, cultural awareness, and community connection

Requirements:
  • Experience in supermarket, food retail, or remote community retail
  • Proven background in training, area management, or relief store leadership
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable in diverse environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Certificate III in Retail (or willingness to obtain)
  • NT C Class driver's licence (or ability to obtain)
