Our organization is seeking a qualified Swimming Teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering effective Swimming and Water Safety programs to children of all ages and abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about swimming and making a positive impact on the lives of others. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission of promoting water safety and providing high-quality aquatic programs.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of teaching swimming and water safety skills to students with diverse needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to the unique requirements of each student, and for creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach swimming and water safety skills to students of all ages and abilities
  • To plan and deliver lessons that cater to the unique requirements of each student
  • To create a safe and supportive learning environment
  • To communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • AustSwim Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Blue card
  • Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
