Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial operations. As a finance leader, you will have the opportunity to mentor and develop a committed finance team in a hands-on leadership role.

You will be responsible for leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, as well as overseeing statutory compliance, audits, and grant acquittals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts that align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Statutory Compliance: Oversee statutory compliance, including ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Audits and Grant Acquittals: Manage audits and ensure successful grant acquittals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar finance leadership role.
  • CA or CPA qualification highly regarded but not essential.
  • Experience working within or supporting local/state government service delivery.
